The first map is the Official Map & Guide put out by the National Park Service / US Department of Interior and it is dated 1992. It measures approx. 16 ½” x 23” opened and I didn’t see any marks on it. There are some wear areas at the folds and a tear in the opened upper left corner which comes through on the back of the folded brochure. The paper in this area isn’t missing but it is crimped together where it got torn. The place that is torn on the map side is over the symbol for Horse Rentals. See pics. The second map is titled Canyon and it was put out by The Yellowstone Association for Natural Science, History & Education, Inc. It measures approx. 17” x 22” opened and is dated Revised 4/93. I did not see any markings on it. It appears in good condition with slight wear. My mom picked these up on one of her travels through Yellowstone. Comes from smoke-free home. Each item tells a story for which I am grateful to now be able to document as a way of keeping some of the history of my family which is now gone.
