The Cover and first page are dated 1947 but the 3rd page is dated 1937. The Book has 229 pages of illustrations and information. the Book was prepared with information from the U.S. Forest service. It measures 8.25 x 10.75 inches and has good field wear to covers but the inside is in nice condition
