The Avenue of the Giants is a scenic highway in northern California, running through Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The road is CA Route 254 from Phillipsburg to Stafford, CA, and was originally a segment of US 101 until 1960 when it was re-designated as CA Route 254. Iconic trees abound and tower over the roadway, the most notable among them are designated on the reverse of the token as: the One Log House, the Drive-Thru Tree, the Founders Tree, the Eternal Tree House and the Immortal Tree.
