Official National Park Service 1947 fold-out leaflet on the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., printed more than 73 years ago. It opens to 8½" x 18" and includes photographs and text, including excerpts from the writings of Jefferson inscribed on the walls of the Memorial Room. The rear panel has a photo of Rudolph Evans' heroic statue of Jefferson. The leaflet was published by the National Park Service, United States Department of the Interior. The text was revised in 1946, and the leaflet was printed in 1947. It is dated in the lower margin. Condition: It is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing.
