SKI RUNNERS - CANADIAN ROCKIES PATCH - ORIGINAL PATCH - EXCEEDINGLY RARE. The "SKI RUNNERS" was a very early club formed in Banff, Alberta, Canada in the 1930s. This rare patch dates to the early years of the club, during the 1930s. To the best of my knowledge this patch has never come to market over the last 15 years, if ever. The only examples of this patch can be found in the archives of the White Museum of the Canadian Rockies located in Banff. This circular patch has saw toothed edges. The artwork depicts a stylized image of a ski jumper, white clouds, white cap of a mountain and a snow covered tree. The patch is made of felt and appears to have never been attached to a jacket. It is in amazing near mint condition. Please see the listing photos and note the amazing detail in the patch. This patch measures approximately 4 3/4" in diameter.
